Since 1992, we have been operating in Heraklion-Crete in the import, processing and commerce of fresh and freshly frozen fishery products. With continuous investment in facilities and know-how, we guarantee high-quality products which we check at every stage of the production, packaging and distribution in the market. The check of the fish and seafood origin, their processing and packaging take place under very strict specifications.
Long-lasting, constant collaborations with our providers all over the world are a guarantee for the high quality of the products that professionals and consumers look for with us. The former find in us a large list of fishery products that adapts to the needs of the market and the tendencies of gastronomy. Our consumers know us as the Greek company which having inherited the deep tradition of our country in fishing, brings the best fish catches from the seas all over the world.
History
- 1992
- Stelios and Maria Daskalaki establish the company Daskalakis Stelios & Co General Partnership in Stalida, Heraklion-Crete, operating in import and commerce of fresh and frozen products for wholesale and retail.
- 2008
- A large investment takes place with the complete renewal of the company infrastructure.
- 2011
- The branch for the wholesale of frozen fishery products is founded in the Industrial Zone (VIPE) of Heraklion.
- 2012
- Emmanuel Daskalakis takes over at the head of the company, which is renamed to Daskalakis Manos AND CO GENERAL PARTNERSHIP under the distinctive title Daskalakis Frozen Goods, and the company seat is moved to VIPE Heraklion.
- 2014
- The company inaugurates its new installations and the creation of a state-of-the- art facility for processing and packaging frozen fishery products operating according to the standards of the Greek and European legislation.
- 2020
- With a new company identity and new product packages, the company is re-introduced to those who trust it but also those who will now discover the superiority of the Daskalakis products.
Facilities
Since 2014, a model unit for the processing and packaging of frozen fishery products has been operating in the VIPE Heraklion-Crete, with super modern machines, following the standards of Greek and European legislation, with laboratory No. GR.17.KN.176 and facility No. GR.F562.
The specifications for freezing, preserving and distributing our products are carried out in the most responsible way and by specialized personnel, so that the quality, nutritional value, but also the taste of fish and seafood is ensured.
